fallout 4 why would completed quests reset to uncompleted

I had tired forcing the quest objectives but the key to advancing the quests was in triggering the scripting to spawn the door button. In that case I needed to trigger a script to spawn a secret button and press i which spawned an Enclave commander holding an NPC objective at gunpoint. There's always a chance scripts won't activate properly with quest stages and if you know them by name (which I needed help finding), you can manually trigger them on and off to get the sequence right. So I need to know what the name of that AI package/script is by name and manually turn it off because switching the quest stage won't deactivate it, because I tried that already.Īnd yeah I did this with a mod called MERC with Fallout 3. The stages apperently set an AI package on Cooke, who's supposed to be dead if you get that note BTW, that overwrtes his normal AI and has no reset trigger.
